Here’s Why You Should Attend Old Fashioned Bakery | old fashioned bakery

Ah, the memories of childhood. The smell of freshly baked bread, the smell of a pie being made, the smells of butter and yeast, and all the cute little hats that children used to wear. We can still see the baker's wares sitting in our kitchens and fondue pots scattered around the house. It is hard for many of us to imagine a life without all of those things. But, I would submit to you that life without them is almost impossible, at least for us children.

That is one reason that we have the Old Fashioned Bakerie. It is not just a fun pastime or something for children to do. It is an invaluable resource for use today. Used as a social tool, for family reunions, to just share the joy of childhood memories, this hobby can bring people together for hours.

One of my fondest memories of all was my first experience as a baker's apprentice. My mother taught all of us girls to bake, even though we didn't know how. This was a great way to spend time with my older sister and me. She taught us that it takes special skills and patience to master the art of baking bread. In fact, she was correct, baking bread is quite a skill. But, it is also a craft that can bring a person so much happiness in their lives.

Of course, we still had our grandmothers and godmothers to help with small tasks like baking the occasional pie. But, we were learning, right along with she did. When I look back on that time in my life, I think of it as the best five years of my life.

There was something about the old-fashioned tables and chairs that just pulled me in. It made me feel good being in that environment. You could see the love and care that went into each and every item. Just thinking about it, I am beginning to have the same feelings about my own work at home. The satisfaction of making delicious things for people is just amazing.

Of course, not everything at my old fashioned bakery was fresh. There were many items on hand that were past due and in need of being refrigerated. However, there were always fresh selections, and I was more than happy to take these to work. That's how much I loved my job at home.

In addition to the joy of bringing in a paycheck, there was another benefit. My boss was a very understanding person and would get personally involved with the Baked Goods Business. She would get things done her way, but if I encountered any trouble or needed a favor, she would make it happen. Now, I don't think my boss does that too often anymore!

If you are ready to start your own business, consider starting a bakery of your own. It is a great way to bring joy into your life, while meeting and exceeding the financial requirements. It's truly an old fashioned way of doing things, but the rewards are much greater than what you will ever understand.

Have a creative, yet organized work area. You will want to use the best material possible. My old fashioned Lazy Susans work table is made out of wood and has drawers for storing baked goods and several compartments for ingredients.

Your menu is going to be the most important part of your business, and you will need to do some planning. You can choose whether to make cakes, cookies, pastries, pies, or specialty breads and rolls. Your recipes can be designed around your theme.

The biggest mistake that I see is the lack of a plan. Without a plan, everything else fails. Start by writing down all of your goals, as well as your budget, so that you have everything that you need in order to begin your business.
